Gearing Up for A Visit to the BOH Sungei Palas Tea Centre

The BOH Sungei Palas Tea Garden is a must visit if you journey up to Cameron Highlands. The sight of tea fields from the tea centre’s hanging balcony as the sunlight shines across the slopes can warm both the body and soul as you bask in the panoramic views. As year-end is a popular visiting period for the tea centre, here are some of the changes which you might want to take note off as you plan your trip.

1. Tristan’s Terrace Extension to the Tea Centre

  • To better serve customers and tourists, BOH added an extension to the tea centre. Named after our previous Chairman, Tristan Russell, Tristan’s Terrace adds nearly 200 seating space to the café and showcases a beautiful view of the tea fields that is unique to what you would experience at J.A.’s Balcony, which is the original tea café.

2. Function Rooms for Private and Personal Events

  • Part of Tristan’s Terrace is the inclusion of three rooms perfect for private events. The Hibiscus, Seri Songket & Cameronian Gold Rooms are available for perfect for work functions or to celebrate special occasions. Check out the packages here or contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more information.

3. Much Much More Parking Bays

  • We have increased the number of parking bays at the foothill of the tea centre to accommodate the ever-increasing number of visitors. There are approximately 190 car park bays plus added parking bays for motorcycles which will make parking more manageable during your visit. The bays are also near to the staircase which leads to the tea centre’s entrance.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

If you are coming with friends or family members who are elderly, or a person with health conditions or impairments, you can inform the guards are the foothill who will gladly allow you up the tea centre’s entrance to drop them off and proceed back down to the parking bays. The same applies when you are planning to leave and need to come up to the entrance to pick them up.  Do not be shy to ask for assistance as we aim to help as best as we can.
