Get Ready for the Raya Ummph! Contest

* Terms and Conditions

1. BOH Ummph! Raya Contest (Contest) will take place from 1st March 2023 to 30th April 2023 (Contest Period). BOH Plantations Sdn, Bhd. (IOrganiser) has the right to shorten or lengthen the contest period without prior notice. Any participation outside the contest period will be automatically forfeited. The contest period will last for eight (8) weeks as per the following.

1. 1. Week 1: 01 March 2023 – 09 March 2023
   2. Week 2: 10 March 2023 – 16 March 2023
   3. Week 3: 17 March 2023 – 23 March 2023
   4. Week 4: 24 March 2023 – 30 March 2023
   5. Week 5: 31 March 2023 – 06 April 2023
   6. Week 6: 07 April 2023 – 13 April 2023
   7. Week 7: 14 April 2023 – 20 April 2023
   8. Week 8: 21 April 2023 – 30 April 2023

2. The contest is open to all Malaysian citizens or permanent residents living in Malaysia above the age of 18 (as of 1st March 2023) expect the Organiser’s employees and their family members, partner companies, and / or any related distributors as well marketing & promotion agencies connected to the Organiser.

3. Participating outlets in this Contest include:

• All physical outlet stores
• Respective official online store, official stores in Lazada and Shopee only for:
  
  • BOH Malaysia
  • AEON
  • Lotus’s
  • Mydin

4. How to Participate:

1. Purchase RM20 and above of any participating BOH products in a single receipt at any participating outlet (physical or online) within the Contest Period. One (1) receipt entitles the participant to one (1) entry.
   
   
2. Send the following via WhatsApp to 017-8871383:
   
   1. A clear photo of the entire single receipt;
   2. NRIC number;
   3. Full name as per NRIC.

3. Retain original receipt dated within Contest Period with matching receipt details as per entry as proof of purchase.
   
   
4. Participants maysubmit as many WhatsApp entries as they wish but each entry must be accompanied by the required details and a separate Proof of Purchase for each entry.
5. Participants are not allowed to send more than one (1) WhatsApp entry with the same Proof of Purchase to the Organiser.
   
   
6. Only original printed receipts with clear product details will be accepted. For online purchases, ‘order details’ will only be accepted if it states that the purchase has been paid for, shipped and completed. Receipts that are difficult to read, damaged, altered, copied, illegally obtained, misprinted and/or do not contain the required information are invalid and will not be accepted. The Organizer has absolute discretion and the right to disqualify such invalid receipts.
   
   
7. The Contest will start at 12:00 am and end at 11:59 pm, throughout the Contest Period.
   
   
8. Given that 017-8871383 is a dedicated phone line of the Organiser, no acknowledgement/reply message will be sent by the Organiser in respect of all entries submitted/sent by the participants to the Organiser via WhatsApp. Any queries, comments and/or calls coming into this number will not be entertained.
   
   
9. Any incomplete entry, eg, no/incomplete receipt, name, etc, will be disqualified.
   
   
10. The Organizer will not reimburse the Participant for any charges incurred for submitting entries, if any.
    
    
11. Participants can only participate in this Contest via mobile phones only.
    
    
12. The Organizer and the companies involved in this Contest will not be held responsible for any delay, delivery failure and/or interruption of WhatsApp messages and will not be held responsible for any unauthorized use of mobile phones or customer accounts during the Contest.

5. Winner Selection

1. GRAND PRIZE x 1 and FIRST PRIZE X 1
   
   1. The Grand Prize and First Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Period divided by 2.5, for example, if the total number of qualified entries is 25,001, then this number will be divided by 2.5 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 10,000. Hence the 10,000th and 20,000th qualified entries will be shortlisted and stand to win the Grand Prize and First Prize respectively. In the event the shortlisted entry is disqualified, the next earlier entry will be the replacement winner, for example, the replacement winner for the 10,000th qualified entry is qualified entry 9,999th.
   2. The eligible Grand Prize winner will be invited to Klang Valley to participate in another event to determine whether the participant is a Grand Prize winner. In the event the eligible Grand Prize winner does not win the Grand Prize, he/she will win the First Prize and the Grand Prize will be forfeited. When this happens, entry 20,000th will not win any prize. All travel costs and personal expenses incurred in participating in the event will be borne by the participant.

2. SECOND PRIZE x 5: The eligible Second Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Period divided by 30. For example, if the total number of qualified entries received is 25,001, then this number will be divided by 30 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 833. Hence the 833rd, 1,666th, 2,499th qualified entries and so on will be shortlisted. The 1st, 7th, 13th shortlisted entries and so on will be the eligible Second Prize winners. If an eligible winner is disqualified, the following shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner, for example, if the 1st shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 2nd shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner. If the 7th shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 8th shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner.
   
   
3. THIRD PRIZE x 21: The eligible Third Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Period divided by 126. For example, if the total number of qualified entries received is 25,001, then this number will be divided by 126 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 198. Hence the 198th, 396th, 594th qualified entries and so on will be shortlisted. The 1st, 7th, 13th shortlisted entries and so on will be the eligible Third Prize winners. If an eligible winner is disqualified, the following shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner, for example, if the 1st shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 2nd shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner. If the 7th shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 8th shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner.
   
   
4. WEEKLY PRIZE x 6 WINNERS x 8 WEEKS: The eligible Weekly Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received during the Contest Week divided by 36. For example, if the total number of qualified entries received is 3,125, then this number will be divided by 36 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 86. Hence the 86th, 172nd, 258th qualified entries and so on will be shortlisted. The 1st, 7th, 13th shortlisted entries and so on will be the eligible Weekly Prize winners for the week. If an eligible winner is disqualified, the following shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner, for example, if the 1st shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 2nd shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner. If the 7th shortlisted entry is disqualified, the 8th shortlisted entry will be the replacement winner.
   
   
5. Eligible winners will be contacted by phone and required to answer one question correctly before being confirmed as a winner. If the participant fails to answer the question correctly, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant and select the next participant as the winner. If the participant cannot be contacted on the first attempt, for example, does not answer the phone, phone number is not in service, no connection, etc., two (2) more attempts will be made within the next twenty-four (24) hours after first try. If these attempts are unsuccessful, the Organizer reserves the right to select the next eligible winner. The Organizer will not be responsible if the participants cannot be contacted for any reason.
   
   
6. Eligible winners are required to send by Post Laju/courier all original printed receipts (with receipt details that match all entries) together with a copy of the Identity Card, mailing address and bank details (for Raya money prizes) within three (3) days work after the date of notification as confirmation of Proof of Purchase. If he fails, the Organizer reserves the right to disqualify him and choose the next participant as the winner. The Organizer will not bear any postage paid by the winner.

6. Contest Prizes 

1. 1. 1. Grand Prize x 1: RM50,000.00 Duit Raya
      2. First Prize x 1: RM10,000.00 Duit Raya
      3. Second Prize x 5: RM1,000.00 Duit Raya each.
      4. Third Prize x 21: RM500.00 Duit Raya each.
      5. Weekly Prize x 48: La Gourmet Kettle & Fazura ‘Tudung’ each.
      6. Each participant is only eligible to win one (1) Weekly Prize and one (1) Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize or Third Prize only throughout the Contest Period.
      7. All cash prizes (Duit Raya) will be awarded via bank transfer directly to the bank account number provided by the participant. Only valid Malaysian personal bank accounts will be accepted. The Organizer will not be responsible for any failure and transfer made to the wrong bank account due to the participant’s mistake in providing an incorrect or invalid bank account number. Cash prizes will only be deposited into the participant’s bank account. All third party accounts will be rejected. The Organizer will not request, whether by email, phone or WhatsApp, the participant’s PIN number, password or other personal details other than those stated here. Proof of bank transfer is proof of receipt of the cash prize by the participant.
      8. All prizes must be claimed at your own expense within sixty (60) days of the Contest Period. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited by the Organizer.
      9. Participants are required to present proof of identity during or before claiming the Contest prize as verification. The forms of identity proof accepted by the Organizer are Identity Cards or Driving Licenses. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants/winners for failure to submit proof of identification.
      10. The Organizer reserves the right at its absolute discretion to replace any prize with other prizes of equal value at any time without notice. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other format for any reason. Prize values are correct at time of printing. All prizes are given on an ‘as is’ basis. The Organizer will not be responsible if the prize is damaged after being received by the winner.

7. All personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or expenses related to the Contest and to redeem prizes are the sole responsibility of the participants and winners.

8. Participants will bear full liability and responsibility in the event of any accident, injury, damage or claim as a result of participating in this Contest and using the prizes.

9. By participating in this Contest, the participants give permission to provide their personal information and the Organizer reserves the right to publish, use the names and/or photos of the winners and their participation for the purposes of publicity, advertising and/or trade without any compensation or notification and each participant is not entitled to make any claim on the use of the participation by the Organizer.

10. The Organizer collects personally identifiable information to provide services or to contact participants. This information is stored by the Organizer in a method appropriate to the data and used to fulfil the participant’s request. By submitting the participant’s personal information, the Organizer assumes that permission has been given to the Organizer and/or its appointed agents to use this information for current and future marketing and promotional purposes and to improve its products and services. If the participant informs the Organizer through its customer service at [email protected] that the information should not be used as a basis for further contact, the Organizer will respect the participant’s request. Participant information will not be given or shared with other companies/partners for their independent use.

11. By participating in this Contest, participants must agree to abide by the official Terms and Conditions as well as all decisions of the Organizer.

12. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, cancel or modify these Terms and Conditions without giving any prior notice at any time and the participants will be bound by such changes.

13. The decision of the Organizer is final. Any correspondence and calls will not be entertained.
